What the Friends Do

The Friends organize and run the annual September used book sale and support the library through equipment purchases, new initiatives, collections for patrons, and underwriting programs.


What the Friends Have Done for the Library

Provide funding for:
*Extensive programming, including our annual Spring Into Arts
*Expanded wireless internet access through our hotspot
*Maintaining the aquarium in the children’s room
*New popcorn machine for movie programs
*New seating for Juvenile and Young Adult programs
*Neon sign for Young Adult area
*Expansion of book discussion kits to include poetry
*Equipment for client self-access to scan, print and fax services
* New motorized scooter
* Upgraded assistive listening device in the Braman Room

Membership Information

Annual dues are $5 for individual or senior couple memberships and $10 for family memberships. Membership runs from January 1 to December 31 and includes early admission to the current year’s used book sale. Join any time in the library at the Circulation Desk, or download a membership form, complete it, and return it to the library.
